EP49: Wie visuell ist der Humor in „Braunschlag 1986“, Marcus Kanter?

Diesmal bringt er uns „Braunschlag 1986“ mit, die zweite Staffel der österreichischen Kultserie von 2012. Ich spreche mit ihm über die Arbeit mit Regisseur und Autor David Schalko, die Zeitreise in die 1980er Jahre und wie ihm der technische Fortschritt in der Filmtechnik seit 2012 die Arbeit erleichterte. Österreich hat’s drauf. Wo in Deutschland jahrelang an toten Konzepten herumgeschustert wird, haut die Alpennation mit hübscher Regelmäßigkeit Klopper raus, die einem den Atem stocken lassen. So geschah es 2012 als die erste Staffel „Braunschlag“ das Licht der Welt erblickte. Autor, Regisseur und Showrunner David Schalko legte acht Folgen zu etwa 45 Minuten hin, die von Ideenreichtum überquollen. Riesenspaß Die Bücher waren voller absurder Twists, die Dialoge scharf und treffend und die Besetzung erstklassig. Vor allem sah man allen Figuren den Riesenspaß ihrer Darsteller an. Vertreten waren von etblierten bis Newcomern damals viele Namen: Robert Palfrader, Nina Proll, Nicolas Ofczarek, Maria Hofstätter, Manuel Rubey, Adina Vetter oder auch Simon Schwarz. Wer damals noch nicht so etabliert war, wurde es durch die Serie. Damals war es bizarrerweise Regisseur David Schalko, der eine zweite Staffel ablehnte. Mittlerweile hat er seine Meinung geändert. Ab dem 16. Juli wird 14 Jahre nach der ersten Staffel mit „Braunschlag 1986“ die Geschichte des durchgeknallten Dorfes im österreichischen Waldviertel weiter erzählt. Bürgermeister Tschach muss sich erneut eine Finanzierungsidee für sein marodes Örtchen einfallen lassen. Diesmal lässt er per Dekret alles ins Jahr 1986 zurück versetzen. Ob das gut geht?
