EP 3: Lost - Stranger in a Strange Land
Episode 3
Monday, 5 April, 2021
This week we watched Lost, Season 3 Episode 9, Stranger in a Strange Land! Listen as we discover why even the most hardcore Lost stans declared this episode to be so bad it forced the network to put an end date on the entire show! Find out why every single male character portrayed was horrifying, learn how to cowboy up Sawyer's way, and hear us discuss the racist and sexist stereotypes in the hero's backstory. Warning!!! We get a little serious in this episode about the increasing anti-asian violence - in particular the recent shootings in Atlanta - and how media pushes this. In honour of this we will be donating to Red Canary Song (https://www.redcanarysong.net/) a grassroots organisation of Asian and Migrant sex workers. We also recommend this article about sex work as care work: https://www.gq.com/story/sex-work-is-care-work-atlanta-spa-shootings.
