Welcome to the "Around the Ladder" podcast, the official podcast of the University of Tennessee Pride of the Southland Marching Band. "Around the Ladder" is a collaboration of the UT Knoxville Advancement Office, the UT Band Alumni Council, and the Pride of the Southland. The podcast is hosted by UTK Alum and former trumpet player for the Pride, Ronnie Boling. Ronnie is joined by co-host Brian Hardy, Director of Campus Wide Advancement at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. "Around the Ladder" hopes to spark memories of past members while giving all UT alumni and fans an insiders perspective of the rich history and tradition of the Pride of the Southland as well as insight on the current edition of the Pride. In this episode of "Around the Ladder", guest host Mike McCay along with Dr. Mike Stewart welcome two very special guest from across the pond, Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Dr. Graham Jones and Joe Wyndam of London Band Week. Dr. Jones and "London Joe" give background on the international event and the excitement building around the Pride's second ever international trip while Dr. Stewart shares his vision for internatinoal exposure for the Pride of the Southland and the University of Tennessee.
