First, the plaintiff, an attorney, did some work for the defendant but says he hasn't paid him his fee, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant argues he never agreed to pay the plaintiff. Then, the plaintiff says he purchased a puppy from the defendant, but it required treatment and died, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant argues she told the plaintiff he needed to take the puppy to the vet immediately when he bought it. The defendant is countersuing for stress. Plus, the plaintiff gave the defendant multiple valuable items to hold for him, but the defendant said he threw them out, so the plaintiff is suing.
