Season 1 of Hidden in Medicine called Life Amidst a Pandemic covers how prospective healthcare professionals have been affected by the coronavirus. Episode three features MacAnnie Telemaque. She is currently attending Cuny Lehman college. She emigrated from Dominica with her family. Her ultimate goal is to become a physician and advocate for minorities. In this episode she gives us her perspective on the covid19 pandemic. She goes on to speak about her classes transitioning solely online and how it is adapting to this change. She expresses uncertainty on when she will take the MCAT due to the numerous cancellations. Finally, she shares her perspective on the stimulus check and its impact on her family’s financial status during this time. Music produced by Akshat Shrestha.
