Welcome to This Might Not Heal You the podcast for women who've tried everything and are still not fixed. I'm your host Katy Bradbury and we're going to be exploring all the ways in which we can liberate ourselves from the ideology of perfection and embrace our health and bodies with curiosity and compassion. This is for women and femmes on a health or personal development journey who are sick of the gaslighting of conventional medicine and the bullshit of the wellness industry, yet are yearning for a space to explore their wellness through personal recovery and collective liberation. Together, we'll be going through the process of challenging the status quo when it comes to women's health, whilst leaning into cycles, seasons, and body literacy, and unlearning much of the conditioning that has led us to be in this place to begin with, as well as working to dismantle the systems of oppression that keep us stuck. We delve into the three main reasons this lens is actually problematic and how we need to stop viewing our health as bank accounts if we want to create real and sustainable change, and get into right relationship with our bodies and each other. We explore some better ways to be in relationship with our bodies while dropping the financial speak.
