Watch as a full video interview on YouTubeMatthew Capodicasa is an award-winning playwright whose work has been developed and presented at the Kennedy Center, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and the National New Play Network, among many others. A recipient of the Woodward/Newman Drama Award and the Judith Champion Launch Commission, his plays are published by Samuel French. He is also one of the founding members of the Glass Cannon Network, one of the leading TTRPG actual play podcasts. We loved chatting with Matthew about how he realised he wanted to be a writer while on stage, how he finds the story he wants to tell through multiple drafts, and how it feels to see your words brought to life by actors on stage and screen. We also get into the realities of working in a TV writers' room, and hear how that process differs from nearly any other form of writing. We also spoke with Matthew about his love of TTRPGs and his work on the Glass Cannon Network on our Narrative Damage podcast - listen to that episode here or watch it now on Youtube here.Links:Watch Vladimir on NetflixVisit Matthew's websiteFollow Matthew on InstagramSupport us on Patreon and get the podcast early and ad-free, along with other great benefits, including a bonus episodes: https://www.patreon.com/ukpageonePage One - The Writer's Podcast is brought to you by Write Gear, creators of Page One - the Writer's Notebook.
