The Last Mixtape
Episode 146
Thursday, 26 March, 2026
Do you ever think back to those days and realize it was the last time you'd knock on your friend's door to see if they could go play? Did you realize it was the last time you asked your folks, 'how much longer...' on a road trip? Did you know that it would be the last time you went to the rental store on Friday night to rent a movie? Did you realize it would be the last time you would watch Saturday morning cartoons? We didn't either... But what we do have control of, is knowing that this is the last time the three of us will be talking about Gen X history. The guys take one final bow from the 4 years of work that has gone into this podcast series. We are thankful that we can finish this amazing chapter of our time together creating Gen X podcast episodes, and feel like we can close the book very satisfied at the history we shared. We want to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you who joined us on this Gen X Journey. In all, we had tens of thousands of downloads spanning 49 states (Seriously South Dakota?) and 57 countries. We hope you enjoyed (and will continue to enjoy) reliving some of the best Gen X memories from one of, if not the best eras of life. We also want to express our gratitude to all of the guests who have joined us to share their special memories over the years. You definitely brought smiles to our faces! And finally, we can't end this show without thanking our friendly Time Machine 'Wayback' for steering us around the decades, so we can relive so many amazing moments in Gen X History. Thank you again, Noel Kersh, Steve Makelki, and Keith Abbott We invite you to subscribe to our show, and leave some feedback in the ratings and review section of your favorite podcast platform!
