Well, ring out the old and ring in the new.It is a new year, and a new look for The Way-Back Music Machine. We have reached episode 82! This year, we thought we would do something a little different.We will be going through the Week That Was day by day, starting on Sunday.And, of course, since The Beatles feature prominently in our show and rock and roll history, there has to be an 8th day ("Eight Days A Week", right?).This week we explore Bill Haley and His Comets hit "Rock Around The Clock", talk about South Park (yes, they had a hit), and a salute George Martin and Malcom Young, both of whom have birthdays this week. We also take a look at a poll in Liverpool in 1962, and talk about The Supremes. Finally, on the eighth day we look at a failed audition.
