Aljo talks Merab loss against Petr Yan and Volk win + UFC 333 Abu Dhabi

Summary: Weekly Scraps, the UFC 333 recap (~59 min)Card rating. Steve gives the card 8.3/10. He says a perfect 10 would be something like UFC 217. The group agrees it was a strong card that felt like how the UFC used to be.Aljo's experience. Aljo was in the arena in Abu Dhabi. He praises the atmosphere and the fan chants, and says he didn't love the arena layout.Piotr Yan vs. Merab (draw). Aljo, who was in Merab's corner, thinks round three is the problem. A late 45-second burst gave Yan the round even though no shot landed clean. He says the game plan worked in rounds one and two. Yan then adjusted by defending the takedowns and forcing Merab to the single leg. Steve says Merab should have showboated the body kick, and notes the crowd cheered every Yan strike and was silent for Merab. Both agree the two are elite and "1A and 1B."
