Andrew 'Elvis' McGovern: Onset life with Digital Orchard
Episode 13
Thursday, 8 May, 2025

What does a DIT actually do? In this episode, we chat to Andy, better known as Elvis, about his journey into the world of digital imaging, starting as a trainee and working his way up to live grade technician. From recreating Live Aid for Bohemian Rhapsody to the car chases in The Batman, Elvis has seen the magic happen from behind the monitor. We talk about set life, live grading, working with DPs, and why the behind-the-scenes world is so addictive.
