Thursday, 12 February, 2026
The Show: The Outdated Wrestling Hour podcast – now in its fourth year – offers veteran fans (as well as curious younger ones) a chance to reminisce about classic mat action from years gone by. The show is hosted by Bob Smith, the former managing editor of Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine and who boasts a long history with several other famous titles. Co-host Joe Puccio (GenerationXWire.com) offers a younger perspective on old wrestling before the duo ushers in guests from throughout the professonal mat landscape. The Guest: Bob Smith interviews the hosts of the popular music podcast Mix Tapes– Eric Stangeland and Mark Moots – but this show isn’t about classic rock hits. The trio take a look back at the use of music in pro wrestling, and how it all changed the way the sport has been presented in recent decades. From The Fabulous Freebirds to Rhea Ripley, this is easily the most tuneful OWH yet. It’s a wealth of old-time mat memories on this new/old edition of The Outdated Wrestling Hour!Support the showContact us at outdatedwrestling@gmail.com!
