The Campfire Storytelling Podcast

The Campfire Storytelling Podcast

Author: Campfire

In the light of a Campfire, everything else fades away. We find meaning in the experiences of others. Empathy that previously didnt exist. Security we didnt know we had. We discover real, human connection. And its in these moments that something magical happens. Were illuminated by our collective wisdom and uplifted by our shared humanity. What we take away is also what we give in return. And when the Campfire is over, theres a feeling that outlasts the experience a warmth we can bring back to the world.Gather around our shared Campfire to hear stories about life and how we live it from the voices already around us. The Campfire Storytelling Podcast is how we bring our live storytelling experience to you, wherever you are.

"How do you know when you've outgrown a container?" featuring Samantha Lander
Episode 2
Monday, 7 July, 2025

This episode features Samantha Lander, one of Campfire’s Fellows. Samantha provides her answer to the Season 16 question, "What does the body know?" A Fellow’s Campfire can best be described as TED without the data, The Moth but interactive, and a sermon but without the religion. You can learn more about Samantha Lander on the Campfire website, https://cmpfr.com/events/samantha-lander/.The Campfire Fellows go through rigorous training and coaching provided by Campfire Faculty so they can share their wisdom through story for you. Our Fellows are the people next to you at stoplights or walking by on the street. These Fellows apply or are nominated by people like you, who know interesting and introspective people with some wisdom to share. The Fellows go through a unique process with our team to discover a wealth of wisdom inside themselves and then are trained on how to share the origin stories of their wisdom. This episode was originally performed in May 2025, produced by Jeff Allen, and recorded live at Work & Leisure. Please be advised, some adult language is used during this episode and there are adult themes.
