In 1996, there was TWISTER and its doppelganger TORNADO starring Bruce Campbell. In 1997 we got DANTE'S PEAK and VOLCANO. 1998 brought us the extinction-level comet crisis films DEEP IMPACT and the macho cheese of Michael Bay's ARMAGEDDON.
