Hello, and welcome to Films for the Void, episode #114! I am your host, Landon Defever, and my guest today is an indie/emo singer-songwriter based in Cincinnati, Ohio. For six years, she was the co-vocalist and guitarist for No Sleep Records pop-punk band Mixtapes, releasing three studio albums and touring with the likes of Bayside, Real Friends, and Masked Intruder. The band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2014, but she soldiered on with various projects, releasing her debut solo album I Was Due for a Heartbreak on Don Giovanni Records back in 2023.
