Along the way, they revisit standout moments, debate which couples they rooted for, argue about period pieces, reality TV manipulation, laugh tracks, and why originality feels so rare in an era of hundreds of new streaming shows every year. They also talk about generational themes in television – staying vs. leaving marriages, jobs, churches, and relationships – and what kinds of stories they want to see more (and less) of going forward.
