bahama mamas part 1
Episode 3

of course karie begins and ends with taylor swift!!! i know i'm slick mean when i cut her off but she had only asked ab taylor ONE THOUSAND TIMES with every local on the island LOL. completely self aware enough to know it's not always what i say but the the tone i deliver it. i know!! i know! i am a work in progress, kk!! btw i love taylor. karie goes to all her concerts lol. anyways! now back to the show! join us as we chit chat with a precious local in nassau bahamas. we relaxed on this cruise to celebrate karie's bachelorette trip. forever grateful to travel with her and so excited for her! i can't explain to you how much i love mine and karie's world tour adventures. we both adore and enjoy the culture of all the amazing places we have traveled and will travel to. fun fact, karie and i have been on so many vacations that i cannot even begin to count. we love a good girls trip! and when your hometown bestie moves away to the beach - you almost have to basically just meet her in a new location lol. we both truly love it! i really need to take more advantage that she lives a block from the ocean (hehe)love is in the air, people! hold your breath! all jokes aside, i have a feeling we are entering our best era yet! cannot wait for my girl to get married. karie has always been a like a sister to me; we've had babies, weddings, and everything in between! 1% better daily is the goal. wait for what God has in store. every time we try to intervene and go by our own selfish and personal will, God is like "oh u just set back that blessing i had lined up for you - but it is ok! we just have to take a little detour." so that's why recently i have let go and let God in the most non-cliche way ever hahaha. we are all truly who we hang around and i pray for my people daily. this season of life has been so beautiful. there is always something unexpected, yes, but to me - that is what makes it so fun, beautiful and unique. i have personally and professionally created content for almost a decade now. something i learned with lots of experience and school of hard knocks is - we don't just make our work. we are our work; and we are alwayssss a work in progress. God wants our humility, and quite literally loves and even welcomes our brokenness. God meets us at the end of us. at my desk at work, at work i have a thrifted picture frame (of course it is so aesthetic if you know me) of Corinthians 12:9. it grinds at my heart and soul daily. can be so easy/quick to skim past reading God's strength, grace, and mercy will be provided in our weakness. from personal experience (and for some dumb reason i used to love to learn the hard way .. trust me, twin - not anymore! mama listens now lol) when all you have is a gut feeling of faith & a baby girl counting on you, that's when you feel His strength. His grace. His mercy. a peace that passes all understanding is almost always a gift that comes after turbulence. i am still studying for the law school admissions test! so we can take it up to 5x, right? i have only taken it 2x. i intend on getting the score i want because this test determines not only law school admission, but also law school merit academia scholarships. why pay for law school if you do not have to? the way i have studied the best was with lsat demon on spotify because daily they talk about the newest law school information and also teach us how to answer questions. my favorite way to study is while i am at work, i listen to their podcast. when they read out the practice problems on the LSAT, it teaches my brain how to react to the test. the thing about the LSAT is, it's not about opinion. it gives you a lot of information and simply asks you to point out exactly what they are asking .. or better yet the outliers. this is after all, what makes a great attorney. i used to think the LSAT was horrible - but once I learned and accepted that it can and will be a vehicle for a highly prestigious law school... mama is locked in. smooches!
