The Practitioner’s Toolkit for Inflammation
Episode 20
Monday, 2 February, 2026

The Practitioner’s Toolkit for Inflammation:  Acute, Systemic and Chronic Inflammation and the Strategies That Work This episode equips clinicians with a practical, layered approach to identifying, modulating, and resolving inflammation—across acute flare-ups, chronic systemic inflammation and disease-specific contexts—using nutrition, lifestyle, and targeted supplementation. Inflammation is not the enemy—but dysregulated, unresolved inflammation is the root of most chronic disease. In this episode, Chris Meletis, ND provides practitioners with context-specific tools, not one-size-fits-all anti-inflammatory protocols. Speaker Bio:Dr. Chris Meletis is an educator, international author, and lecturer. His personal mission is "Changing America's Health One Person at a Time." Dr. Meletis has authored 18 books and over 200 national scientific articles in journals including Natural Health, Alternative and Complementary Therapies, Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients, Life Extension, Natural Pharmacy, NDNR, and several journal articles on PubMed.gov. Dr. Meletis served as Dean of Naturopathic Medicine and Chief Medical Officer for 7 years for the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (now the National University of Natural Medicine). He was awarded the 2003 Physician of the Year by the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
