"Our greatest gift lies next to our deepest wound" -Philip McKernan My life hit a 360 degree transformaton from thinking I was disabled and crippled at age 19 because every doctor said I was chronically ill and will never get better.. I thought my life was over. I was emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually damaged. I was determined to find answers and hope even after consulting with over 10 doctors around the US that told me there's nothing else. As a result, I was taking medications since I was 14 yrs old, STRONG drugs such as the famous opioid. My story involves feeling paralyzed from the level of pain in my every day, back surgery, attempt at suicidal overdosing and being chronically ill & out of tune with my body for over 10 years of my life. Until I saw Dr. Nassr at Mayo Clinic MN in 2017. He planted a new perspective in my mind filled with hope, health, & holistic healing awareness. He gave me the light to take my life to another level. He said I needed to become superwoman.. Since then I have been clean from my prescription drugs, hiking mountain tops, horse riding, and figuring out who I am using "Alternative, holistic, naturopathic" medicine. I live to fuel my body with the best solutions and food to overcome my Spondylosis & Lyme disease. I live a plant based gluten free life and I am healthier than I've ever been. Im excited to be sharing ALL of my biohacks and experience and knowledge so YOU can also feel the BEST you've ever felt. I want you to THRIVE. In this episode "How Not To Destroy Your Vitamin Source" I discuss cooking techniques how to keep your vitamins from completely demolishing NOT using boiling or steaming! Also WHY its so important we are eating our vitamins not having to take a crap ton multivitamins just because we are Deficient - Our bodies need vitamins from foods! There are other fun cooking/food tips you can use to apply todays meal too! For years until I invested in Saladmaster cookware I never paid attention to the color of my veggies before I cooked them and then after & WONDERING WHY ARE THEY SO DIM.
