This episode was originally released in February 2019. A borrowed sail, a questionable GPS, an aging Columbia 30, and two friends who definitely should have known better. Preventer is the story of my first attempt to sail down the southern California coast with my friend Delgado. The trip is a crash course in what not to do on the open ocean. This is a tale about beginners luck, thin margins, and the quiet ways adventure teaches you exactly how unprepared you are. It's also about the small, stubborn choices that carry you forward anyway.
