Potter Revisited Episode #121 Passive Aggressive Gift Queen AKA Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Chapter 23 "Christmas on the Closed Ward" Harry believes he has been possessed by Voldemort and is going through it Harry thinks he is the weapon Sirius referred to when he first arrived at Grimmauld Place - Tori can see where he is coming from, while Shay thinks Harry is being silly Is Harry feeling this way all Dumbledore's fault? Could he not have relayed a message to someone in the Order? Phineas is still the worst - and probably not a great Headmaster or Teacher with the way he reacts to Harry's justified anger Hermione has canceled her Christmas plans with her parents to come to Grimmauld Place Does the school not ensure that the students actually go home to their parents and are where they say they are? Seems like a problem that no one really knew where Hermione was for the holidays Hermione hasn't spent Christmas with her parents since book one It seems like Hermione has lied to her parents about many things going on at Hogwarts We love seeing Ginny's personality come out more now that she is more relaxed around Harry and comfortable telling him off Harry forgetting Ginny was possessed reads like Main Character Syndrome The possession Ginny experienced at 11 really affected her and we don't get to learn much about it Sirius is very happy to have the house full for Christmas Is decorating the Elf Heads for Christmas morbid or Whimsy? Percy has returned his Christmas gift from Molly and hasn't checked in on Arthur - is this his pride or is he being cruel? Hermione gifts the boys Homework Planners - is this a passive aggressive gift? Dobby paints a portrait of Harry Ron gifts Hermione a bottle of Perfume - is this him starting to admit to himself his feelings for her? Kreacher is still missing Hermione gifting Kreacher a quilt is actually quite nice We learn what a Satsuma is The kids run into Gilderoy Lockhart at St Mungo's which is hilarious Is the healer in charge of the closed ward a bit negligent? Bode receives a pot plant (Not what we were thinking) Poor Neville runs into his peers and forced to reveal the sad truth about his parents before he is ready Neville's Gran really throws Neville under the bus - no wonder he has confidence issues Neville's Gran seems to hold a lot of pride for what her son and daughter in law sacrificed Lockhart is actually doing pretty well - better than he deserves really with all the crimes he committed Shay is excited to get Snape back in the next chapter Snape Sucks count for Chapter 23: 0 Umbridge Sucks count for Chapter 23: 0 Talk Shit, Get Hit Counter: 4 Email any thoughts, questions or feedback to potterrevisitedpodcast@gmail.com Music: Shelter Song by Alexander Nakarada (www.serpentsoundstudios.com) Licensed under Creative Commons BY Attribution 4.0 License https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Links: Trans Lifeline https://translifeline.org/ The Trevor Project https://www.thetrevorproject.org/ Follow Us: Facebook https://www.facebook.com/potterrevisited Twitter https://twitter.com/potterevisited Instagram https://www.instagram.com/potterrevisited_/ Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4v2Xt0OIQ8_LCVYhKf2S5A TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@potterrevisited
