I entitle the episode “Luciferin Transhumanism” because of the Season’s focus on “synthetic life.” The writers went so far as to make Jean Luc Picard a “Christ-like” figure by resurrecting him as a synthetic life form, leaving behind his semi-altered physical Borg body.
