Send us Fan MailWelcome back to the program everyone. I don't think we really understand quite often what self-expression is and how crucial it is to our lives. But it's every way you express yourself: how you play tennis, how you walk the dog, how you interact with others, how you paint, how you draw, how your penmanship is, the words you choose, how you make love-the physical act of self expression. This is all self expression. Today we will talk more about the creative act of self-expression. Many of you know I'm a writer, and it's very curious when I don't write, I get a little angry, I get a little anxious. There's a part of life that's missing. A deeper self-expression is in connecting an important component back to me. Back to my broader self, back to my humanity, if you will. If not, we're often just stuck in our heads. Pros and cons, fears, doubts. The head doesn't know about self-expression. It's just sort of interpreting and seeing whatever is going on around it. But that deeper part of us, that self-expression, is essentially what makes us individuals. It makes us unique.Take a listen. This just might be what you need to hear today. Support the show
