S06 E06 - "Home/Office" & Tony Vale
Episode 6
Sunday, 15 March, 2026

Hello there and welcome to another episode in this sixth season of Theatrical Shenanigans. Today we are bringing you a play by Craig McNamara (https://www.craigmwriter.com/plays) Craig began writing plays about three years ago, looking for new challenges to supplement his career creating award-winning advertising. He’s found some success in playwriting too, with five plays produced in various venues. Craig has been a featured playwright on Theatrical Shenanigans before when his play “Red Nose Drunk” featured in our Christmas special in 2024 (https://theatricalshenanigans.podbean.com/e/12-plays-of-christmas-special/) Craig’s play today is “Home/Office” and when talking about it Craig says “I was inspired by observing the tug-of-war that co-workers and managers were having about returning to the office – and used that as the hook for a personal, emotional conflict between the two characters.” Synopsis: A remote-working employee has the upper hand in negotiations with his manager about returning to the office – or does he? Cast: Kevin – Jeff Tullin (https://twitter.com/Jeff_Tullin) Laura – Helen Fullerton (www.HelenFullerton.com) And joining me to discuss this thrilling play is the fabulous Norfolk based playwright Tony Vale (https://newplayexchange.org/users/62905/tony-vale & https://www.facebook.com/FourbyFourUK) who has been featured on Theatrical Shenanigans four times before: “A Trifle Upset” - https://theatricalshenanigans.podbean.com/e/episode-5-a-trifle-upset-george-sapio/ “Ghost Writer” - https://theatricalshenanigans.podbean.com/e/one-year-anniversary-special/ “Writing Wrongs” - https://theatricalshenanigans.podbean.com/e/mini-shenanigans-episode-10-writing-wrongs/ “Missing the Marrow” -  https://theatricalshenanigans.podbean.com/e/theatrical-shenanigans-play-a-day-special-day-5-missing-the-marrow-by-tony-vale/ If you can, please Like/Follow/Support us! :-) https://www.buymeacoffee.com/TheatricalShenanigans https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100087550385392 https://www.instagram.com/theatricalshenanigans/ https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/RFWScripts
