She says she misses Jeanie and Pauline but distracts herself back stage with actor Matthew Broderick who is in a play with a “Derry Girls” connection! Only one of the Talking Derry Girls goes on a Road Trip this time. Marie-Louise heads to NYC, where she sees the American premier of David Ireland’s play “Ulster American” . David is a writer and actor who played Clare’s daddy Sean Devlin in “Derry Girls”.
