23. Let Them Be Wrong About You
Sunday, 30 November, 2025
One of the most liberating shifts I ever made didn’t come from a book, a therapist, or even a mindset practice. It came from coparenting. For years, I had to learn, sometimes the hard way, what it means to let people be wrong about me. To sit with slander. To resist the urge to defend myself. To stay rooted in who I am rather than who someone else needed me to be in their narrative. And the wild part? That skill has radically changed my body image, my business, and my entire sense of self. Because here’s the truth I share in this episode: 👉 When you stop trying to prove yourself, your confidence skyrockets. 👉 When you stop trying to control the narrative, your nervous system finally rests. 👉 When you stop performing “goodness,” you stop abandoning yourself. Just like in Wicked, where someone must always be the “good witch” and someone must always be the “bad witch,” people will always filter you through their own lenses, wounds, and projections. In their story, you might be the villain even when you’re not. In your own story, you get to be free. And the same pattern shows up everywhere: 🌿 In body image: When you stop trying to prove your “discipline,” shrink yourself, or meet impossible standards, your body actually becomes a safer place to live in. Your choices come from self-respect instead of self-surveillance. 💼 In business: When you stop contorting yourself to be palatable to every follower, coach, or gym bro watching, your messaging becomes magnetic. Your offers land. Your confidence becomes regulation instead of performance. And ironically? Your results grow. 🔥 This episode is for women who feel misunderstood… Who are tired of controlling every perception… Who are ready to step out of “good girl energy” and into sovereign self-trust. If you’ve ever struggled with body image, food, perfectionism, or the pressure to prove yourself, this conversation will land deep. It’s time to let people be wrong about you and watch your life expand because of it. 🎧 Listen now to Episode 23: “Let Them Be Wrong About You” Your nervous system, your body, and your business will thank you.
